Just noticed today that someone stole my TRD exhaust tip. What a drag. I guess it should be expected since it was just bolted on. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement & how much they cost?
They stole just the tip? Or did they take the whole exhaust, from the axle back - the part that replaced the OEM muffler and exhaust tip?
Tip is kind of weird, as that is welded onto the pipe leading to the muffler.
A new TRD exhaust will not be cheap - I remember I had a quote for one through my dealership for $435 and that was slightly discounted! Probably a lot cheaper to get a Magnaflow or Borla aftermarket fitted to the car - all depends on what you are looking for.
I dont think he's talking about his whole exhaust being stolen, just a tip that bolts to the stock muffler; more for looks then anything I guess. -=cough RICE cough=- Go to the local Toyo dealer and they might have one in stock thats cheap.

^^^ Ah interesting. I didn't know that TRD even made such a thing. I've seen the chrome tips at the dealership, but those were aftermarket (Valor) tips. Maybe someone got wise and started to engrave the tips with the TRD logo.
Thats not as bad as what I saw at the grocery store the other day...A '98 Type R badged as Honda with Veedub wheels. I was almost tempted to submit it to laughatrice.com
