what motor oil do you used for oil change?

Hi all,

Just bought a 04 Matrix XR AWD a few weeks ago. I am about to hit the 1000k mark, and just wondering what type of motor oil do you guys use.

I am thinking of using Mobil 1 Synthetic, and am wondering if anyone is using the same thing, if so, how is it?

i switched to mobil 1 at the dealer at 13,000 km's...
1000 is way too early, give it a couple more thousand
go through your first oil change as is recommended by the dealer... there's a special break in oil in the car now that works different.. if you were to switch to mobil 1 so soon you'll have problems down the road

His 1000k = miles = 1600km.

Anyway, I just put in Mobil1 too at the dealer at my last oil change @ 35000km.
