DIY: How to straighten up your own damn muffler!

This DIY is for my particular case but it might help some of you out!

Tools needed, pic speaks for itself

What happened was that the rear hanger broke off and I had to re-weld it, in process it gets really hot so my support bar twisted a little to the right.

First take the rubber hanger off!

Then take the torch and start moving it up and down for a few seconds until the metal gets cherry red or almost cherry red ( no cherry red pics because that’s when my hands where busy pulling it to the other side)

Since its been clamped in the upper part, just start pulling it to the opposite side until you get the desired results

DONE! you just saved like $30 from a muffler shop
