Tail/Head Light Issues - HELP PLEASE!!

Hey,

I really need some help with my car. Yesturday when I was hooking up the lighter cable from behind the dash a spark went off (maybe another wire:S) but after that happened my right headlight stopped working (lo-beam) but hi-beam works and my tail lights don't work when my lights are on but they light up when i hit the brakes. Also my interior lights no longer work like as in the shifter lights, heater control lights (gauge lights still work). Also when my car is off and my lights are on and i leave my door open there is no beeping noise. I truly hope someone can help me and i'm not sure how any of this is linked.

p.s. i have checked the bulbs. there all functional and i have checked all the fuses (engine fuses and the fuses under the steering wheel)

I've heard of this before but I can't remember the fix. I know you're not alone, hopefully someone will come forward with the fix.
