Angry CD stuck inside CD-Player!

I currently own a 04 Matrix XR... and there is a CD stuck in there.I already tried taking the dashboard off and the stereo top too. I got a better reach to the cd but nothing worked... it looks as if the laser thing that sticks to the cd is still on it and it is not letting it be ejected?? I tried to pound on the dasboard and it didnt do anything but it made the lights on the lcd brighter! I also tried pulling the cd some tweezers and I even stuck my knive in there to push the sides but nothing!! I think I might have ran out of options?? idk... Should I try pulling the fuse out and putting it back on?? HELP!

Try turning the CD function off and on a dozen times (it has worked for a few people before).

Worst case - try the dealer.

Try hitting eject / power cycling the headunit a few times. If that doesn't work - disconnect the negative battery cable - sort of like "cold reboot" - headunit will start cycling the tray as soon as power is reconnected (note: if you have an alarm system - it may not like that). Works like a charm on the 6-disk changer in my Matrix.

Worse comes to worse - like XR2003 mentioned, take it to the dealership or audio shop. If you were planning to replace it - pull the headunit out and have at it with a screwdriver, etc. to yank the CD out.
