Unhappy Toyota Matrix 2003 XR. ABS light turns off after 5 Miles per second.

Hi Guys, thanks for taking the time to read my question.

I have Toyota Matrix 2003 XR, last month ABS light is on and it does not turn of after the speed reaches 5 miles per hour.

Symptom

1. Turn on Car.
2. ABS light is ON
3. Start speed up
4. Speedometer needle is on 0 Miles and really the car is reaching 5 Miles per hour.
5. Once I reach 5-6 Miles / Hour the speedometer start working and the ABS light turns off.
6. No check engine light is on.

Any Advice to troubleshoot this Issue Will be appreciated.

Could be anything from a bad ABS speed sensor (on the hub) or a bad VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). The 2003 model years didn't have TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), but it is a good idea to make sure the tires are all the same size, roughly the same wear, and tire pressures that do not vary more than 1-2 PSI from tire to tire.

Probably speed sensor and its calibration is to be checked.
