USA Matrix 2005 will not start

Hey guys how is your day going good I hope,I just recently did some major engine work replaced #1 piston and 4 sets of piston rings,new rod bearings,valve seals and a few more things everything went together with no problems so now it comes time to start my car of coures the battery is dead so I take care of that problem ok time to start it up but it justs cranks over like there is no spark does any thing need to be reset I need help real bad thanks guys.

Need more information - what have you diagnosed so far. Lots of things can cause a no start, especially after the amount of work you pumped into the engine.

Did you check for spark first?
Made sure all the electrical connections are clean and tight?
Make sure no fuses are blown?
Did you verify that you have good compression (real measurement should be made after the engine is warmed up - but you should have some compression when cold)?
Timing is right?
