Ahh i don't like those. I like the fenders on the vibe. I wonder if the fender panels are compatable w/ the 'trix? I'de have to see a side by side.

Strange case with the Toyota dealer I purchased the auto from. They said fender flares are not available for the 2005 XR; however, when I called Toyota's main 1-800 # they said they are and the dealer was mistaken. Any idea if they are; or if Toyota intends on making them available?

I was also thinking of adding factory mud flaps and was wondering if they would interfere with fender flares or the lower molded trims peices which run along the sides of the auto (it looks like it might be a little tight). I am not entirely sure on adding the mud flaps; I've noticed the 17 inch tires tend to kick up a lot of streaks on the sides of the auto, but am concerned with snow buildup in the winter around the flaps, and if they will help trap moisture around the body which would lead to corrossion (the vehcile is undercoated).
