new the forum... looking to purchase a new matrix

Hello, I'm looking at the matrix xR.. the XRS will nail me on insurance since I'm only 19. So yah.

I'm just wondering is there anytthing to keep my eye out for?

tranny issues (i'm getting an auto, family drives car too)
stock tire isses (if i can pick a choice of tires)
engine issues? (I doubt there will be for this one)

any call backs?

Thanks

the 04's only come in 6-speed... in 03 they had an auto in limited quantities but most auto drivers regret buying the auto... better off getting an XR if you dont like shifting
