2006 Matrix Help!!!

Longtime Toyoto owner...have two 4runners, an '98 and '02 limited, and need to purchase a car that has a little bit better gas mileage. We immediately started looking at the Matrix...it's got some room for the two kids and wife...but still doesn't look like a grocery getter. Anyways...after months of looking, we found a 2006 with just under 60,000.

They are offering it up at 12,991...which seems ridiculous a price...but...

we got them down to 10,500 out the door...including tax, title and doc fees.

Would you take it at 10,500, or would you try and push them down to 10?

my wife and i purchased an 03 matrix. xr package with awd for 13.500 out the door just three years ago. it had just under 60K on it. im not sure what the package pricing adders where for awd and the xr package but i would think its about 2500-3K. so that being said and the fac its 3 years later and the one your looking at is 3 years newer. i don't see it as a bad deal. big question is how old are your kids and how do you plan to keep it?
