19x8front 19x9rear?

sup everyone.just wanted to know if 19s wheels would fit on my matrix xrs?these 19s are offset.the rear is 19x9 and the front is 19x8.need some help here guys so let me know what you think.oh and the tire size if they would fit

I doubt you can fit 9" wide wheels on a Matrix.

Besides that I think putting wider tires on the back of a front wheel drive car is a bad idea, your understeer will be even worse than it already is.

Even if they did fit, 19's are insanely huge. Your car would work extra hard just to get going.

Rim size makes little difference. It's the diameter of the tire that matters. FYI, not trying to be a dic.

i wanted to do something like that with my car too!!! Its very tempting isn't it? I wish my car was a rear wheel drive so I could do that... too bad its a FWD

19" wheels fit fine on the Trix but 19x9 are too wide.. If you're into speed then 19's are out of the question.

max width is 8" wheels Optimum offsets are 35 - 38mm

Doable offsets are 35 - 42mm

Yeah, you're right. W/ 19's you'd have to run an extremely low profile tire just to match stock dimensions. And w/ that, the ride quality is going to suffer.
