I seem to recall somewhere reading online that if I pull the 1zz engine (2004 Toyota Matrix 2WD) and put it on a stand, I cannot invert it or else the valvetrain will get $)@%ed and components will drop out into the cylinder head. Is there any truth to this? The engine spun 3 rod bearings, and will need it's crank replaced so I'm getting ready to pull it and stick it on an engine stand.
