Best way to make my automatic a standard?

Hello all, I've finally got my 03 matrix(1zz fwd automatic ) paid off and have another car so my matrix is no longer a daily driver, but now i want to have something to work on, and i want a standard transmission car in the driveway which is the best/easiest option for me. 1.) 5/6spd trans swap, 2.) 2zz 5/6spd swap, 3.) Buy a STI. I'm not sure on the technical aspect of these changes that's why I'm asking to see which one takes the least work/money. Thanks in advance for any post/advise.
