Question 2003 Matrix Rad replacement?
anyone have some good info on how to replace the radiator and water pump in 1zzfe 2003 Matrix???

Simplified steps:

Remove radiator
- Disconnect battery (safety)
- Drain coolant
- Disconnect radiator hose inlet and outlet hoses
- Disconnect transmission cooler hoses
- Disconnect radiator hose inlet
- Disconnect fan motor electrical connector
- Disconnect clamps for the wiring harness on the shroud
- Remove the fan bolts
- Remove the fan and electric motor
- Remove radiator assembly

For the waterpump
- Disconnect battery (safety)
- Remove serpentine belt
- Disconnect wiring to alternator
- Remove alternator for extra clearance (2 bolts)
- Remove water pump (6 bolts)
