Freeze Plug on 2006 Matrix

In preparation for the winter I've purchased a freeze plug type engine heater for my 2006 Matrix.
Question is: Where's my freeze plug(s)?
Thanks!

Assuming this is the snap in cartridge type - the one that looks like a fat metal pen with a right angle connector on the top?

If so, there is a cavity on the driver's side of the car, back of the block, right at the level of the transaxle that it clips into. Same side as where the battery is, cavity is pointing to the belt side - have to do a bit of searching around - as it is pretty tough to see. Definitely do this when the engine is cool - as you'll find it faster by "feeling" around that side of the block.

I'm having the same gripes with my 04 Celica, 2ZZ If it's where I think it is, there's a solid metal pipe and wiring harness blocking the way I can't fit my cartridge heater at all...it's a real pain in the ass. All videos I have seen on other Toyotas have been really easy with minimal obstruction... Why is the 2ZZ such a bitch? :P

Can any 2ZZ-GE owners help us out?

I'm also thinking NAPA gave me the wrong part number, mine feels too snug...I cant get it in the plug hole.
