just bought a 05 XR AWD can i do some thing to up the HP?
don't want to do something too expensive

what options do i have?

according to TRD
but that's pretty expensive like $1,000 for TRD intake & exhaust.

trd intake would fit, but the trd exhaust won't b/c it's for a 2wd not the 4wd. the 4wd exhaust is different so it needs to be custom.

you can up the HP with the trd supercharger but i'm not sure if it would work on the '05. forgot the reason why though.

In Canada, the TRD CAI is about $575.00 plus the TRD exhaust is about $800.00 plus taxes!

The TRD exhaust does nothing so don't even bother getting it if there is one for your 4WD.

Wait for the SuperCharger for your year. I am pretty sure that will be coming out soon.

no exhaust will fit... you have to get one custom

also because the exhaust is different on the 4wd, if you add an intake you'll get a weird droning sound out of your exhaust.. if you're gonna do one. do both or else it'll be VERY annoying

i'd honestly just get a supercharger or get a turbo if you want power... all this other stuff is pennies

supercharger will not fit on a XR 4WD or XRS.
was only manufactured for the base model & XR.
SORRY !!! The intake and exhaust with alittle costum work will do maybe you want to look into the UNI-Chip

umm... supercharger does fit to the 4wd but we are not sure on the '05... just check on matrixowners.com and look up for greenfire... he's the only one with the 4wd that has reported to have it on...

Droning with the CAI on hte 4wd? please explain... b/c i have a CAI on my 4wd...

do u really need a name brand product? U should check any local Muffler shop. I checked one down here in Fresno Ca. , that where i live but they could do a cat. system for $275.00 installed.

Get a TRD intake from the US to save you some $$$. A member in MO has a magnaflow exhaust for his '05 xrs I'm assuming it will fit yours too.
