Matrix Antenna

I am looking for a stock antenna and cord out of a matrix to do a custom job on my celica. Does anyone have one that they shaved or changed to aftermarket or know where there is a Matrix scrapped ?

All most people have been doing is just swapping out the antenna 'mast' with a shorter one. i.e. Honda S2000 antenna
But have retained the antenna 'base'. Do you need the base as well?

Yeah the base is what I am looking for, base including the cord inside the car, I will be putting a 3 inch mast on it once its fitted to the car.

I haven't seen anyone remove/modify/shave off the base of the antenna. Not even US owners.

Your worst case scenario is getting it from the dealer. But at least it'll be brand new.

yeah they're on new corollas as well. The dealer here wants alot of money for the piece, commie bastards.

yeah It was the base I priced, that was all i needed. It comes with its own little length of cord, match that to my oem cord and away ya go. but I wont be going to route now that its $200. lol.l
