don't expect a matrix to be a sports car. The Matrix isn't a civic Si nor a Celica GTS. It's too heavy.

Matrix XRS is 265 lbs (120kg) more than a Celica GT-S, not too bad for a stationwagon. 17's and tall 1st gear hurts off the line and tall center of gravity hurts in the curves. For what it is, it's great. Better than a Protegé 5 or Focus ZX5.

My xrs runs like a sport car ,my 1/4 mile time is 14.7 @ 95.76mph.

Not to be distrustful, but I would REALLY want to see a timeslip before I believe that one. The SCC turbo XRS only ran low 14's.

Best I have seen (quoted, no slip) is 15.4.........and even thats questionable.
