OK everybody just to keep you up to date,the new exhaust we tooled up with the help of Rick McCallum is going to be ready to go in approximately 10 days. At that time,we will run Rick's car on the Dyno for some solid figures and make those available to you. We will run the car with stock exhaust, and then the new exhaust with and without the restrictor to get dyno figures for all 3 configurations. We hope to do dB testing as well, so you know how loud it is.
For those of you whom are thinking about ordering, the price is going to be $495 list, with a substantial discount for forum members. The system is 100% 304 mandrel bent stainless steel. It uses all factory pickup points and stock rubber hangers. If you buy it through your dealership parts dept, it carries a 1 year Toyota warranty. If it is installed on a brand new car (before you buy the car) as a dealer option, it has a Toyota 3 year factory warranty. It will be available with fully polished piping for an additional cost. It will not affect the warranty on your car in any way. It is a rear section (1 piece) muffler from the rear axle to the bumper. While it is possible to do a cat-back, you would have to cut the factory exhaust behind the cats to do so (there is no flange after the 2nd cat). We have no plans (except for custom systems) to do so.
