springs

whats up

i'm looking to drop my '03 Matrix XR and i was curious to know if anyone out there has an idea as to the best lowering springs should i be using to do so. To give you any insight i'm dropping
18" rims...so I'm trying to find out the best way to do all of this.

so if you have any ideas for springs...shocks etc. let me know it would be much appreciated. If something is working great on your matrix i'd like to be informed.....

lates,
c

Welcome to the site, creggo.

You should probably tell us how much of a drop you're looking at first. There's a bunch out there that drop mildly from 1.25" to over 2".

The more popular ones out there are TRD, Eibach Prokit, Eibach Sportlines, Progress, Hotchkis, Tein S.Tech, Tein H.Tech, Intrax and B&G.

I've got Hotchkis springs in my XRS. 1.5" front, 1 1/8" rear.

You're in Toronto, right? Your other post says so. You should check out our meets sometime and check out some of the different drops we have. Our next meet is Wed.Oct 9 in Mississauga.

I just ordered some Vogtland Springs for my 04 xrs which gives me a 1.6 inch drop.

i have 18's so the drop was nessesary.
These springs are better than eibach and its like you dont even know its lowered until you go over a speed bump.

Most of the NASCAR grid uses these springs for racing but they arent still at all plus they come with a lifetime warrenty

the only bad thing is that they are made in germany so it would be a pain to send them back for whatever reason.:
