05 XR backing without beep sound

Some people don't like the beep sound when backing, but I don't have sound with my 05 XR, so may be Toyota cancel it already? Manuel seems noting about this

Yeah, it's only on the 6 speed. The reverse is located at the upper left corner so it's a reminder to make sure you're in reverse and not first gear.

Hey if any body is interested a Tech in the shop I work in just disabled this for a customer that didnt like the noise ..... I will bug him and find out what wire you have to snip to remove the Chime....

Canada Wire snip

Please post suggestions on how to stop that beep.

I really don't know why Toyota thought it necessary since other manufacturers also have reverse in that position but don't include the beeping noise.
