Canada Remote starter for 2004 Matrix

Hi Folks,
Has anybody had any experience with remote starters in their Matrix? I live in Canada (Alberta) and am thinking of buying one. I am looking for advice on good brand names to consider, or bad brand names to avoid that are available in Canada. For that matter, since I will be getting it installed, any experience with companies and their installations? Thanks in advance for any info folks can provide.

Canada remote

i use the cool start remote start (canadian) and i love it i just put one on the g/f's truck too, going on two years without a concern. my only suggestion would be to spend the extra money and get the two way -fm- transmitter it is worth the money and easier to add an alarm to, and secondly avoid walmart/future shop box stores and go to a reliable stereo shop instead for the install.

One of the guys here in Toronto has the Compustar which is also an alarm. It's on his XRS 6speed and I don't think he's ever had a problem w/ his too.
