Yeah if u got money to burn, why the hell not. I've seen the TRD quick shifter on ebay for about half that but u have to install yourself. So play it by hand.

Those prices are insanely high. They're worse than what TRD Canada charges us!

That parts guy is also misinformed. The TRD CAI is only made for the 03 XRS because of the air/smog/whateveryouwannacallit pump they added in the 04 XRS. The only intake that takes the pump into account for the 04 XRS is Injen. But physically, the TRD CAI can fit in the 04 XRS. Someone proved that by installing it in their 04 XRS. I can't remember though what they did with the air pump (if they ignored it or not).

Second, the TRD exhaust is not a catback. It's an axleback. And they want $650.46 for it?!

still that high after 10%, fuuuuuuuck. Have a looksy under your car from the rear axle. It bolts on from the axle back. that's the best way i can describe it i'm gettin' a little drunk.

Classy.

cesium, a catback exhaust runs from the cat (catalytic converter) all the way to the tailpipe. An axleback only runs from the axle to the tailpipe. The difference basically is the the extra pipe you get in the catback that runs from cat to the axle (or 'b' pipe or 'midpipe).

Catbacks usually yields more power than an axleback because the extra pipe is larger than the stock pipe thus giving the exhaust better flow.

yeah, what mista said. I just was being lazy is all . What side is the exhaust on the base and the XR model. I wonder if it's cheaper to get an exhaust set up if the exhaust is on the passenger side and throw one on a XRS model?

The tailpipe on the base/XR is still on the driver's side.

I'm gonna go ahead and convert it to the passenger side. I wanted to make it dual but i'm not sure what gain if any i'll get. I'll just have an open in the rear bumper on the driver side. If i can get a camera i'll post new pics.

well there's not "good" and "bad" prices but "good" and "high" prices. If your not in a big hurry do more research i'm sure u can find more reasonable prices 'cause thats what i'm doing. If i had more than enough money to spend then i would get the "name brand" models and such but i don't. I have a 2nd child on the way and my spending limit went down a few notches. Id'e like to get my exhaust in the beg. of next year and headers those are the two hightest priced on my list so far.
