i'm just gonna do a custom dual on mine. I can't afford a whole stainless steel system.

Does that exhaust go back on the passenger side or the driver side. I'm looking in having it come out on the passenger side.

I have square-outs on the back bumper cover of the bodykit so i'm gonna go w/ a barrel style muffler. I'm just not sure if i should just leave the stock pipe at 2" or go w/ 2.25". If i leave the 2" i'm gonna change the headers for sure and maybe the cat. converter. That'll be a custom exhaust though and not a full cat. exhaust stainless steel system. I'm not sure in the variance of HP in the two but it can't be far off if any.

What's the length of the exhaust pipe on the matrix, minus the resonator? I found s/s pipe on SFX Performance for $60 for 2.25"x5ft., is that a good deal?

There's a guy in MO with an '05 xrs that has magnaflow cat-back so I'm assuming greddy would fit your '05 xr but IMO, I haven't seen any dynos from greddy for the trix I would think that's just hype not performance and it's expensive too.

If you need info about magnaflow cat-back, shoot me a pm I'll show you to the right direction .

greddy is just an axle back... not a cat back...

I've got the Borla stainless catback on my 03 XRS. I get all kinds of compliments about how non-rice the car sounds, considering it's only a 1.8L. It has a deep, throaty sound, especially when it's cold out.
