A little while back I promised you guys the first look at our new exhaust for the X and XR models. This is the one we designed on Rick McCallums' car. Here is a picture of the Prototype. We'll have 25 produced in the first run and I'll let you know when they're ready. I'll also let you know when we are doing the Dyno session so those who live close enough can attend and test it on their own car if desired. My apologies for the delay in getting the part ready, we had some difficulties with the factory swivel flange!http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/max_co...c=bc%26.view=l

All I can say is it fits and looks great, sounds really nice on the car as well, not too loud, has a deep off idle richness and gets a bit quieter and enen better sounding as the revs go up. It has a nice off trottle sound as well. There is a noticable increase in power in the middle and upper rev ranges also. We did not have a scale there but it is noticably lighter as well. I have the prototype on my car now, will have a production one soon, great products and very well made.

Looks like the real deal. I can have my car (Base Auto) up from San Diego around the end of the month for dyno and fitting. You game?

Looks very nice and clean, and if it true what you say RAAM then it should have the perfect sound to it too.. I love deep low base coming out of your muffler, it took me a while to find mine..

I like it alot but then again, it is not loud at all, just enough to sound good and also hear the engine when doing a little sporting around  I personally do not like loud exhaust, first of all it brings too much attention from the cops, stealth is better and with the style of the car more so to have an exhaust not too loud. Secondly, I build my cars into all out audio competition vehicles, I want to hear my insanely expensive audio system while driving, not just while parked at shows. So, I get just the right amount I would want with this system, great sound, just enough to hear for hot rodding around and still hear my audio system when I want, I am totally satisfied with everything including the looks.
