lowering springs help

Well, I finally broke down and ordered lowering springs for my car. I have a couple questions though. One: Do I need to get the car aligned after they are installed, And two: How hard are they to install? Should I take it to a shop or can an average mechanically inclined person do it relatively easily?

What springs did you get?

Yes, you'll need to get an alignment afterwards. Get one 2 weeks after installation when the springs have settled.

If you feel confident enough to do it then go for it. But if you doubt and second guess yourself you should probably leave it up to a pro.

Thanks for the link. I think I can do it but it looks like a lot of trouble. Not to mention I don't have an impact or airtools...oh well, I'll pay someone to do it. Thanks again

I thought about doin' mine myself but don't have the necessary tools to do it. I'm still trying to figure how much of a drop i should get w/ out bottoming out my kit all to hell.
