Do you know the specs on the dash mounted AC inverter in the Matrix? I'm interested in wattage of the inverter itself and fusing because I'm not sure what I can power with the outlet.
I'm sort of electrically illiterate... I'm a Mechanical Engineer.

Do you guys use the outlet much? It's kind
of far up front to use for a tv or my PS2 in the back. I use it to power my cell phone charger sometimes.

Thanx for the info.

Hey Phi1002

Yea, from what Ive read, As long as the plug fits and its not a heat producing item (ie, curling iron, iron, that kind of thing) the outlet will work.

I just wanted to say big up to a fellow Phi. We are very hard to come by. I'm assuming either you're Greek, Viet or it's just a co-winky-dinck

Whoo hoo, I'm still the ONLY Phi

That's really my name. I wasn't cool enuff to belong to a frat house so I decided to join a local street gang instead to fill that void "Eeeeass-yyde". Also, it make shopping a hell of alot easier. Everything is one colour

Anyhoo, welcome

Morning guys! I don't care what your name is, if you are cool then you are cool and that is all that matters  Then again, if using the word cool shows I am an old fart, to most of you anyway, I don't care about that either, lol.
I am just myself, been playing with cars for 34 years now, lowered my first one in 72, a 510 Datsun.

As for the inverter, it is only 100 watts, the little box under the drivers seat, I may wire in a bigger unit just to have it.
