Question Long-term Owners: Cargo Area Noise an Issue?

This is a question for all you long-term Matrix owners out there: does the plastic lining in the cargo area(and behind the back seats) get noisy as the cars rack up the miles/kilometers?

I'm considering a Matrix purchase in the next year or so (assuming Toyota does the right thing regarding the clutch-wear issue in the XRS) and haven't seen anything posted regarding this. but the way it's put together looks like it will be a source of creaks and squeaks as ithe car ages.

Thanks for any info you can give.

2 years, 33k mi, no noise yet. Clutch is still ok, but is a bit smelly in reverse.

Owner since Aug. '02. No noise back there. Then again, I have the carpeted cargo mat back there and a bunch of crap to absorb noise if there's any.

since end of March '04 but it's an '03. There was noise only because i stripped the back out to install the springs and i just installed my loud ass exhaust system. There's vents on both side for why i don't know. I'm gonna probably fill it in w/ that insulation stuff.
