i've heard the cai is badass for he xrs
but what about us without lift
sr or cai for the xr's?

I would've said to get the XRS but check Matrixowners.com and register and they have a lot of info. your looking for i'm on there as well and Mistamatrix as well.

Screw the short ram. Get a CAI. (Injen/TRD/AEM). IMO, get the cheapest you can find.

even in hot climates, the cai's would be better then the sr's?
i do a lot of city driving during the week but on friday nighs
i do like 350 highway miles.

Especially when it's hot the shorty is closer to the engine bay *HOT* and suck all that hottnes in. Go CAI for sure , I started out w/ a shorty then converted to CAI and i can tell a hella lot of diff..

i think i'm just gonna wait on that and get the
internals i need for my 1zz to put a stage2
c2power turbo kit on the trix..
piston sleeves, connector rods, performance camshaft etc..etc...
any other suggestions, this will be after my warranty is over.

im still shopping around for a CAI for my base....im thinking of just doing the COSMO racing CAI
