A Fast Idea
I want to make my 04 Matrix Xr faster.
Just like everyone else does.
So i've been doing some researching on
the FI subject of my 1ZZFE motor.
At first i heard bad things about turbo
charging the 1ZZ, but apparently I was
a bit mistaken. I did more searching
around and found a big bore kit,(1.8L up to 2.0L)
piston sleeves, cylinder heads, crank arms,
and camshafts, with all this internal motor
upgrades, my 1ZZ should be able to stand
a good 20psi at best. at least i think so.
I am going to start automotive school soon
for more experience and i want to eventually
work in this field.
so anyways, those are my plans when my
warranty goes up, till then it's all exterior
work and suspension.
any thoughts ? questions comments?...
