CEL trippin'

My CEL keeps commin' up not all the time but enough to start to piss me off. It was after i installed the short ram some time ago but it didn't trip till later down the road. Then it started to show up more frequently. I used contact cleaner for the MAF sensor and cleaned the throttle body w/ carburator/throttle body cleaner as well. So i'm like , could it be the MAF? Also when i had the shorty i had cleaned the filter and oiled it also. I may have used a little too much oil on it and may have got some on the sensor to trip it. I wonder if i should just get another sensor and hope that it solves the problem, 'cause i can't think of anything else.

I have to make a stop to the dealer again for more parts. Just so you matrix owners know, if u don't already, if u replace the rear wiper blade keep the metal shimes that are on the side of it. As toyota doesn't sell them w/ it on there, i mean wft? So i have to pay 10 bucks to get a whole new blade instead of a refill. Also i'm getting a door handle as the cheap ass chrome stuff is coming off but it's still under warranty so i'm not paying, hell yes. I have a feeling that the sensor isn't gonna be cheap either.

I sure hope you didn't mess up your MAF. The cleaners you used have to be non-residue. You also have to use the oil for your air filter sparingly. A new MAF is pretty pricey.
