and my dog really likes to go for rides in the back of the Trix. The only problem is that she marks up all the windows with her nose. I don't have a problem with the side windows, but I am concerned about cleaning the rear window because of the rear defroster element. Can anyone recommend how to regularly clean the inside of the rear window without causing damage to the rear defroster?

Get one of those static cling on layers made for child seat windows. Let the pooch mark that up and you can wipe it clean, then remove when you want.

i agree with tercel gts. the clear decal is inexpensive and easy to clean. i have used them from a friend.
