Stickers on Rocker Panels - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

My new Matrix XR, purchased in Canada, has what look like small stickers towards the back of the rocker panels and extending unde the car. Similar stickers are on the body just back of the rear doors. The dealer did not know what they were. They are painted the same color as the car. I checked other new Matrices on the lot and they had the stickers as well. They may be some form of scuff or wear protection. Does anyone know what they are? Thanks.

I THINK YOU MAY NEED TO FIND A NEW TOYOTA DEALER. i AM SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT A DEALER THAT DOESNT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE IS NOT A VERY GOOD DEALER. I AM A PARTS MANAGER OF A TOYOTA DEALER AND EVERYONE IN MY PLACE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE. ANYWAYS THEY ARE EXACTLY WHAT THE OTHER PERSON STATED. JUST THERE FOR SMALL ROCK PROTECTION. ON ALMOST EVERY TOYOTA. THEY ARE NOT PAINTED. THEY ARE CLEAR. IF YOU NEED ANYMORE INFO PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
