Subwoofer rattle

This is a question for the people with the 7 speaker package. Does your subwoofer at the back rattle?! I've tried stuffing with the netting that came with the car and it still rattles. I dont know what to do. I wanna crank up the music some times, but it's just so damn annoying, i have to turn the bass to -5. Any ideas? someone suggested blue tack.

Wow. Turning the bass to -5 would pretty much defeat the purpose of having a subwoofer!

Is it the enclosure of the sub that rattles? Could it be some loose items in the narrow storage compartment directly behind the rear seats that could be causing the rattles?

You could always Dynamat (or equivalent) the rear hatch. http://www.dynamat.com/car_speaker_kits.htm

i've played around with it a lot. One thing that rattles is the little cover for the storage space where the subwoofer is. I just take it off now. another, is that when i pull the subwoofer (by grabbing on the opening where the cover usually is) the vibrations tend to go away. So i need to probably stuff an insulator. However, i dont want to take the car apart or anything. I'm trying to figure out a quick fix solution. May look into going to the dealership though.

Had the same prob with my 03 rolla. It turned out to be loose screws on the sub. Tightened them and haven't had a prob since.
