REALLY PISS at TRD comp. THEY made nothing for 2005 cars. Im really upset that i got a matrix and hoping to get a supercharger, then i found out that they have no plans making one for the matrix. even the corolla,, NOTHING produced except for a dam exhaust for XRS.. im fed up with them..

Well, make your own setup. I have a friend who fabricated an entire turbo setup on his '95 Integra using spare metal piping and misc parts from other cars. Cost him a lot less than a premade turbo setup too, and it ran really, really nicely. Sucks that no one makes them yet, but if you want it that bad, do the research, invest the time, and you'll have something to really be proud of.

Lightbulb

Sport Compact Car did a turbo build-up on a Matrix XRS shortly after it was introduced, using a modified blower designed for a Celica. They may even have it archived on their website.

All they needed to do was fabricate an adapter plate to use the TRD SC in a 2005 Corolla.

Read all 4 parts:

Same story featured in Winnipeg Free Press:

i read all 4 aritcle prior to my post.. fudge civics,,those cars are way dam ugly compared to matrix. i mean,,i have an auto, which i think its not worth it putting a turbo kit from atr, which i been following. ,, that's why i wanna go to the sc route. i think with the turbo kit,,there still need to be a adapter plate which tells how much gas ur pressing? ... dam yo,,i just need that adapter plate so bad..

did u guys know that trd made the adapter plate for the dealership who install the sc on the 05 corolla? I email the service manager and he told me that his dealership didnt even know that there was the drive by wire bs,, so he called trd and they made a ecu and adapter plate for them which they stated that its not to be duplicated. now wassup wit that? thats just messed up,,
