okokok. so i have an ipod, and i use the radion station. it has its ups, and its downs. I looked up some options on installing interface adapters, but they all seem to cause you to lose the use of your CD player. which sucks. anyone know anything to help me?

Hooking an external device up to a factory Toyota stereo is damn hard. I've looked into it a bit, and the cost of devices that will allow you to set up an input are comparable to the price of a new deck that has an input built into it. I recommend either just dealing with the dimished audio quality of using an FM transmitter, buying a deck that already has an input, or just doing like me and just not hooking up an external device. I'd love to hook my minidisc player up to my deck, but I can't stand FM radio quality and don't have the ching ching to put in a better deck, so I just make mixes on cd-rw's.

Hello, I have an Ipod and I use the ITrip device that you can buy from Target for 24.00. It works perfectly. My friend works at Circuit City and says the 99.00 devices are a waste. I bought the ITrip and could not be happier. I hope this helps.
