It is overtaxing the circuit which wasn't designed to have the additional draw. You didn't mention the fuse rating. If 5 amps you might bump it to 6-7 amps without much risk but not much higher.

I had my Viper alarm for over a year now. I don't think it has anything to do with it.
The fuse rating is 25 amps. I think the Armorall fluid got into the power lock/unlock unit and short circuit it. I may have to open the side door to dry it out. Anyone has instruction in PDF for me open my door?
