well you can and its up to you really. I can tell you how it feels as I have stock struts (lowered springs) on my camry.

Nice and comfy ride, but they can be abit bouncy at times, especially when you're going over speed bumps.

If you have the extra $$$ to get better struts then I would recommend you to get them. If not stock struts are ok
