The power of the 5.7 is breath taking to say the least. I hope the mpg is as good as all the other things the truck has to offer. So far I am more than impressed and hope it continues.
"It pretty much puts the big 3 to shame in my eyes."...I feel it's a little early in the Tundra game to be pissing on the Big-3 at this time. Ford is still the best 1/2 Ton out there.
The test of time will tell for sure or...what boo-boo's/changes are made to the Tundras for 2008 and 09.
Congrats on the new Tundra...but don't you think the Dash/Guage Cluster is a bit cheap looking with all that plastic ?

Not looking to flame Toyota's 1/2 Ton Truck efforts, and I still could very well be an owner for 08-09. The Diesel will be in most if not all the 1/2 Ton Trucks for 09...the F150 Ford(diesel) will be a tough one for me to pass on but...a Diesel in the 09 Tundra-Diesel may also get my hard earned money.
The problem is...I want a new Truck NOW!
