Just because you lost thousands tell me that you probably paid way to much for it in the first place. A car that does not cost very much has less mark up. If the thing cost $20,000 new I do not know how a person could loose thousands, but then again thousands could be $1000 - $4000. With all the trading I have done I always figured on $3000 - $3500 diff year to year on a similar equiped truck. If you lost as much as your saying on your Corola. I wish I would been there when it was your time to dump it.My 16 year old kid could use a new ride.
