The other thing that will be a huge diff between the two engines is the torque. When you hook a trailer to the two you will see a cosiderable diff in power. The bottom line is the 5.7 is the way to go considering the mpg is the same. It just does not make much sense to me to have less power with the same mpg. If I owned a 4.7 I would be hunting a trade very quik. Just my 2 cents. Good luck in what ever you decide.
