Only if the purpose of your car is to take turns at over 45 mph or are racing. I guess most guys here are into performance, so yes staggered will cause problems. But if you are a daily commuter and are having your car for showing off and not trying to beat a civic, you'll be fine. Besides, with power steering, you'll probably wont feel any difference.
Its your money, you can do as you please. Nobody questions other guys here for putting HID on their cars, exhaust that accentuates the "ricer" effect, wings, spoilers. Everyone has their own taste and preferences. If you have the money to spend on two different set of tires (cause you know you cant rotate), I say go for it and post your results.
