This happened to me. It was a pain in the ass, but I was able to get the rubber tubes out. I used a long sharp object to reach into the spark plug tubes and cut up the rubber tubes. I then used a coat hanger to manipulate the large pieces out. Then I used a straw and either a vacume cleaner or my mouth to create suction on the straw to remove the smaller peices (I used a vacume, but your mouth works just fine, but be carefull not to inhale any pieces).
