HOLY $H!7!!!! 2nd best MPG ever.....

Well, I've had my '96 V6 Auto Camry for over 3 years now, and got my 2nd best MPG ever, and can't figure out how.....I really am baffled how I got it with the speed I drove and mods my car has.

I got 28.78mpg over 419 miles on 92 octane (up to 10% ethonol on pump).

90% highway @ about 75mph
10% City or Stop/Go traffic jam on highway

40% of drive was with AC on
15% was with front windows down

~150 pounds of luggage/car parts in trunk

Things done to car:
TRD Supercharger @ 6PSI
Custom one off SRI/CAI combo
255LPH Walbro fuel pump
Denso Iridium plugs
16" wheels from a newer Camry
Lowered 1"

Taking everything into account, that's pretty damn good mileage. Under the same conditions my Avalon would get about 27 MPG based on past trips. My ultimate mileage, though, is with windows up, no A/C on, and keeping it at 65 MPH on cruise control...she'll get 32/33 MPG under those conditions. I'll bet your Camry would get the same and maybe even slightly more.

Really good mpg for a supercharged V6. Nothing like having cake and eating it to.

Your mods shouldn't cause a huge hit to mileage during highway cruising, just if you get on the gas and then on the brakes a lot. IME, ~27-28mpg at ~70mph highway with one or two windows down and the same hwy/cty percentage is normal even with ~550lbs of people and another ~150lbs of stuff. A SC won't cause a whole lot of drag unless it's pumping a lot of air.

I thought my m.p.g. was low. I got 540 miles on a tank from L.A. to past Winslow,Az. I made 2 trips to Gallup N.M. The 1st time i got 517.The 1st time, i used Berryman's in the fuel with 15w40.The 2nd time,i changed the oil to supertech 10w30 and i just fueled up,so i don't know what did the trick. I was doing 70-75 all the way. 95 Camry 5sfe, 170,xxx miles auto,BONE stock engine.BTW, where can i get better quality plug wires? I want to add a Jacobs and see if this helps any in a future run.
