Can somebody suggest a safe engine cleaner (internal)

I use a quart of ATF for the last hundred or so miles before I change oil. ATF has a high detergent package in it, but still has some lubricating properties.

AC DELCO/ GM engine flush/cleaner, amsoil engine flush, chemtool b12, even seafoam

your engine is not made of paper. follow the instruction and you will not have a problem with any of the above
