Gen 6 cardboard spare tire cover broke after I put my sub on it. It's only a single 12" subwoofer enclure by MTX. The total weight, according to my scale, is only 37 pounds. A 6-inch section(betwee the jack and the spare tire) simply broke off cleanly after I put the sub there.... Is this cardboard-type material supposed to be this weak? I'm thinking about taking the whole cover and ask my friend to cut out a piece of MDF in the exact shape... Anyone elase with broken/cracked spare tire cover?
