I went to the dealer this morning and showed them the broken spare tire cover. Without having to say another word, the service advisor had a new one ordered. It'll be here first thing tomorrow morning and it will be covered under warranty. According to her, this is the 5th or 6th spare tire cover that she had to order this week for the '07 Camry. She said all of these were brand new Camrys that were sold at their dealership in the last month.(including my own Camry) Sounds like a problem with the supplier that sold the covers to Toyota?
I wonder if they'll let me keep the old cover so I can glue it back-to-back with the new one, just like what you did...
