If a 5SFE engine, align the hole in the cam pulley up with the bump in the cam bearing cap. You should be able to see the bump through the hole. Align the crank at 0 degrees.

Install belt, release tensioner, then turn engine by hand 2-times CW and recheck the marks. If the marks are off, repeat the process.
