Even with the standard system (which is what I have) there are tweeters in thoes locations in the dash. When you step into a diferent car that only has door speakers, say a 2007 Civic, you will really notice the toyota sounds clean and clear as a result of the high mounted tweeters. I noticed this when I was car shopping. They really do a nice job with the sound system on these cars!
