What's up guys my name is Josh And i don't have a Supra ( but i wish i did ) I have a 1992 Camry...... but that's not what i came on here for i came on here because I took my wife to Bill Write Toyota Here in LOVELY Bakersfield, CA. to bye her a car (I have to give her props though she drove her grandpa's 5-spd 1996 Toyota T-100 for 6 months and that was the first 5-spd she had ever driven.) and the sale's man and i got to talking about dream cars my 2 dream cars are a Nissan Skyline R34 and a Toyota Supra, So here is my question, He told me That there coming back out with the Supra in 2007 is this true or is this the first time you guys have herd this too?

Let me be simple and blunt.

No. They are not coming back out, no one officially inside toyota has confirmed this. For the last FOUR years people have been saying "A new supra will be out in [Current Year + 2]!!!"

Admins.

Gen5

guys a friend on the aussie supra site went to japan recently and came back with the news toyota WILL NEVER BE RELEASING the MkV (those who know you can visit the japanese toyota factory) and. It was only a rumor anyway because someone saw a heavily camoflaged supra like car on the toyota test track, it was likely one of the new Lexus anyways...

...the days of performance are leaving as petrol crisis escalates.

Oh, we're gonna argue semantics now, are we? Haha.

The Supra stopped being sold in North America after 98, that's what I was referring to, since that's when people have been coming up with rumours here in North America. I didn't check your location first .

Also, I'm pretty sure, and I could be wrong, that the last MKIV rolled off the assembly line in July/August 2002, not in 2001, for the Japanese market. I seem to recall a special Carbon Fibre steering wheel being offered on the JDM Supra for 2002 models, and then that the Supra was still listed on Toyota Japan's website in 2002.

I'm pretty sure if you do some searching you'll find the same thing.

well the newest i've seen that was at a Tokyo Autosalon when i was in Japan was a 2001 model, hell i'm sure toyota still have all the panel dies and such...throw enough money at them and you could have a 2006 MkIV made 100% of Australia's MkIV line are JDM, after the MkIII didnt sell too well because of the high prices they had to charge for aus-delivered they ended importing them to sell here.

My MkIII is one of the last aus-delivered supra into the country...

...i'm not too sure about the US market thus why i was referring to the JDM line.

PS. when it comes to supra i'm always sentimental

For the love of all that's horrific about this place, someone please lock this. If they want info they can search for the other 200 Rants about the Mk5 Supra.

I dont care what anyone says.I wont believe that a ''new supra'' is coming out until I see some real hard core evidence that it is.I mean we have all heard new supras stories for years and years now.I think its gonna happen and when/if it does expect it to come with a high price tag as well.Especially how the car game is looking now.
